GRE is on the road

Just as all the people who want to proceed their graduate studies, I applied for the GRE test last week, I knew it would be a long term and hard task for me, a little bit pressure, but I am still excited, I made my decision and I am taking this road down already.

GRE test, as known to all, is one of the graduate record exams, I call it entrance examination for graduate school, too, to make it easier for myself. Its contents are English, math and writing. I used to prepare for the test for graduate school in China, as far as I know, it was just so different from the gre in America, I personally think gre is much easier, no offence.

My native language is Chinese, so the whole point of the gre test is to get to know as many words as I can and use them into the test. The English part and writing part are all based on how many words you know, as long as you know all the meanings of the words you will not miss any. The math section is easier, because all the math in the test is only on the middle school level in China, or freshmen in high school at the most, unless you don't understand the English meaning of the title, you could score easily and quickly.

I start working on my verbal officially from today, this is the most difficult part for me, I feel hard but no pressure, I just need to memorize as many vocabularies as I can everyday, just like China students have been doing all the time for any English test, of course, gre is not only an English test for us, but a skill required one. In a word, this is a challenge for me, but I like it.

I spent five hours in the library today, I felt like I was back to college life again, reading, studying, just as simple as the life could be, I really enjoyed it. Anyway, I am preparing for my gre test now, I will keep recording how much I learn/do everyday, for summarizing my day, encouragement and improvement.
